The W810 (at one's disposal as the W810i and W810c ) is a camera phone produced by Sony Ericsson and the successor of the W800.

Features

The W810i is part of Sony Ericsson's Walkman develop of mobile phones. While being similar to the W800, the W810 has benefited from distinct improvements. Most notably are quad band connectivity, EDGE support for faster wireless observations transfers, a slightly enhanced display, but slightly reduced battery life.

Other features cover a full function internet browser, 2 mega pixel digital camera with auto-well-, the HPM-70 stereo headset, Memory Stick PRO Duo slot, 20 MB of internal thought, and a music-only mode where phone functions are fully turned off, this rage also allows the phone to be used as a Walkman in areas mobile phones would as per usual be barred from, such as airplanes and hospitals, in addition to providing longer battery-lifetime. The phone supports MP3, AMR, MIDI, IMY, EMY, WAV (16kHz maximum sample rate) and AAC audio formats and MPEG-4 and 3GPP video formats.

While true support for Memory Stick PRO Duo is capped at 4GB, many users have reported using 8GB sticks with total functionality (read and write).

Cosmetics

There are many small cosmetic changes from the W800, but most distinguishable is the absence of the classic joystick that has been found on the majority of Sony Ericsson agile phones since the T68i. This has been replaced by a D-pad designed to improve ease of use when listening to music and to take care of a longer life to the keypad (as the classic joystick tended to fail due to dust). The casing color has changed from burnt orange and cream to satin threatening. The sliding camera lens cover has also been omitted completely. Regardless, a K750i or W800 back cover (with lens cover) will fit with youngster modifications.

Availability

The Sony Ericsson W810 is available as the W810i for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and North America, and the W810c for Mainland China. The W810 was released worldwide in April 2006. A virginal color variation of the W810 was released on 20 June 2006 . and is currently available on AT&T in the U.S. and O2 in the UK. The W810i is available in both interdict and white on Rogers in Canada.

Fatality replied: "wow your in luck, lol, ok what you do is put transfer songs from your pc to your w810i through usb after that disconnect the usb and wait for it to return to its regular screen. once thats done go to your menu, go to your settings, then go audio settings which is the 2nd or 3rd tab on there. and one of those is a ringtone solely put a song and voila! there you go. if you have any problems email me"
